A team project to rebrand Max Connect Marketing. The goal was to create a brand that is up to date with today’s trends and styles while giving more personality to the company. Together, our team created everything from an updated logo and color palette, to digital display and swag.
For this project, I played a key role in setting the vision and direction of this project. To lead the design team and inspire creativity.
Wickenburg Ranch is a retirement community located in Arizona. As design lead of this client, my job was to create the full visual personality of the organization following their brand guide. Work included print display, banner and social ads, wayfinding, billboards and logos.
The Wealth Standard Network is a collection of podcasts focused on investing, financial strategies, and building wealth. I made a rebrand of the podcast including the design for the website and stage.

The Student Guide is for any upcoming graphic design students at the University of Utah. I created this booklet that gives vital information on what graphic design is, what tools to use, a map of local resources, and all other know-hows to thrive in the program. This project shows my craftmanship skills in book binding, along with a strong editorial design.
I decided to rebrand and redesign the menu for Mazza, a middle eastern restaurant in Salt Lake City. The highlight of this project was the wood cover that I hand crafted with a leather spine and a logo etched into the cover with a wood burner. The inside menu has a border pattern inspired by hours of studying arabic artwork and pattern making.
One of my all time favorites, Valued Vocab is an example on how I can apply my illustration skills to my design. The assignment was to receive seven random words and make a design that is consistent and correlates with the vocabulary. For this project, I drew inspiration from the old Darwinian illustrations.
Illustration has always been my greatest strengths in graphic design. This illustration is based on an article from The Atlantic about the pros of allowing refugees from Syria into the United States. My illustration allows the audience to have a higher sense of empathy for the refugees by showing an unfortunate family who is so close but so far from reaching a land of promise and opportunity (referencing The Wizard of Oz). Another challenge was to give the illustration a unique style. I did this by using water color textures that I later edited into a line drawing.
4+1 is an editorial about the four most influential movements of design (bauhaus, dada, fluxus, and deconstructivism), along with the future of design. For this editorial, I took a different approach than the usual computer software. Each page is a hand cut collage of type that was placed in a layout and photographed to create a more real look.
One of my most conceptual projects, the redesigned book cover for 2001: A Space Odyssey reflects some of the major themes of the book that was never shown in the original cover. The small astronaut flying out in the vast space background shows the books theme of our small place in the big universe.
